The Joseph Tanner Songbook

I don't think either of my Grandfathers played a musical instrument.  I have been told that my paternal Grandfather Joseph loved to sing.   One day my Grandmother presented me with a copy of his handwritten collection of song lyrics, he enjoyed singing.  It's a family treasure and I'll pass it on to Isaac one day.  In the meantime, it's fascinating to explore Joseph Tanners musical fancies.  Many of these tunes are classics writen by great songwriters from the 30s, 40s and 50s.  Some of them are things I've never heard before.  My vision for this project is to learn some of them, play each one at least once, and build a library of recordings I can share.  While I am admittedly doing this for my own reasons, I hope you enjoy these as they start to pop into the collection.
